Service Description

We work with effective, kind, reward-based training methods. When: We aim for Saturday’s from 10.30am to 12pm (subject to change due to venue availability). Where: Tarbrax Village Hall, Crosswood Terrace, EH55 8XE. Wk 1. Saturday 11th January, 10.30am to 12pm. Wk 2. Saturday 18th Jan, 10.30am to 12pm. Wk 3. Sunday 26th Jan 10.30am to 12pm. Wk 4. Saturday 1st Feb 10.30am to 12pm. Wk 5. Weekend CLASS OFF. Replaced with a 121 session outdoors in Tarbrax on 7th, 8th & 9th of January for each Pup for 60 minutes to work on Recall. Times to be arranged. Wk 6. Saturday 15th Feb 10.30am to 12pm. Wk 7. Saturday 22nd Feb 10.30am to 12pm Wk 8. Saturday 1st March 10.30am to 12pm Wk 9. Saturday 8th March 10.30am to 12pm Wk 10. Saturday 10th March OFF Wk 11. Saturday 22nd March 10.30am - 12pm Wk 12. Saturday 29th March 10.30am to 12pm Six dogs per class - Cost of course £360. We ask for a £120 non-refundable deposit to confirm place at time of booking then a 2nd payment of £120 by Friday January 10th then 3rd payment of £120 by Friday 30th January. (Or payment in full on booking). We will start with the very basics and build strong core skills from the ground up, including essential survival skills for you and your puppy to negotiate real life situations. We will help you communicate effectively with your puppy and consolidate your relationship, It may feel very repetitive, but consistency allows your dogs to learn & understand what you are expecting from them as individuals. Once we have built a relationship with your dogs and understand them as individuals & have assessed who would be comfortable to socialise in the group, we will allow this to happen. What we cover in class needs you to commit time for both you and your Puppy to work together at home on a regular basis. As all the pups are different breeds, at slightly different ages, please do not be concerned if your pup is learning faster than another. The time & input you put into your training yourself with your pup in-between classes will make all the difference to progress. Short stints per exercise with breaks for processing and decompression time for your pup are crucial. We will ask you to join a private WhatsApp Group to enable us to share video footage of our classes and lessons as well as allowing you to ask questions in between class. We encourage you as a group to share experiences as we can learn from one another's good days & bad days.
