(Or payment in full on booking). As puppies develop and grow, we are presented with greater challenges as they become more independent and start to make more choices for themselves. We will be working on various impulse control exercises which will help you stay in control when presented with lots of distractions. At around 4 and a half months old, our pups enter a new exploratory phase of development, and with this comes a greater desire to approach other dogs. This can be a testing time for dog owners and can lead to failure to recall and poor greeting behaviours that then become even more difficult in the adolescent phase. We will be creating alternative behaviours in this course which will enormously help you overcome your dog's desire to rush up to other park users without a care in the world. As a result you will be creating the building blocks that allow you to have your dog more reliable upon encounters with other dogs and people, so that your dog will be able to explore the world more naturally and not be committed to a life on the lead. We will ask you to join a private WhatsApp Group to enable us to share video footage of our classes and lessons as well as allowing you to ask questions to motivate you to keep your daily training up with your dog & share with the group your dog's journey with us.
